SE DevOps Specialist
Description
As a SE DevOps Specialist at Exabeam, you will leverage your development and solution architecting expertise to design innovative solutions that address unique product proof point challenges. You will work closely with our go-to-market, sales engineering, product management, and engineering teams to implement Exabeam’s demonstration systems.
Key responsibilities include developing and supporting technical accelerators such as demos, sizing, architecture, and proof-of-value strategies. Additionally, you will bridge the gap between product management, engineering, and sales engineering, contributing to the success of Advanced Technical Solutions programs through design partnerships, quality assurance, and early adoption support. Your expertise will ensure scalable, effective, and tailored solutions for Exabeam’s diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and operations for Exabeam’s Go-to-Market Proof-of-Value Sales Engineering assets
- Demo environment and use case development and support
- Capture-the-Flag environment and user experience support
- Pilot & Proof of Concept and Pilot alternatives using repeatable, high-value assets
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience related to enterprise-scale architecture as well as the development, implementation, and maintenance of security applications and systems architecture
- Minimum 3 years of experience in information security with a strong focus on security architecture
- Innovative, technical and outside the box thinker with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Problem Solving and Collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across application, database, and system layers.
- Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively in cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations staff.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning and management. Use of Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Load Balancer, and Cloud Container Repository.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience using tools like Jenkins, to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
- Systems and Networking:
- In-depth understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration.
- Experience managing container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Docker.
- Experience with development repositories like GitHub and Google Source Repo.
- Knowledge of queueing technologies, like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with networking principles, including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing, as well as security best practices.
- Experience with data store solutions like MongoDB, MySQL, and ElasticSearch
- Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving complex system problems efficiently.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar systems to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Knowledge of the system development life cycle, and system and application program development technological alternatives and architecture methodologies for multi-platform environments
- Experience with Security Operations, Log Management, and Analytics, SIEM, and UEBA solutions a plus.
The annual starting salary for this position is between $143,200- $179,000 annually plus bonus/commission, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
